Three Refugee Camps Set Up For Fire Victims in Ancol

The North Jakarta Social Sub-dept. and Ancol Urban Village have set up three refugee camps for fire victims living in RW 05. They also have distributed 1,500 packaged rice meals to them.

Those camps are set up at RW 05 Post, At Taubah Mosque and an empty land at RT 06/04, as well as under Pasar Pagi Flyover.

Assistance for Ancol Fire Victims Distributed

There are totally six camps set up in such locations. Three out of them are from North Jakarta Social Sub-dept., one unit is from Dompet Dhuafa, one unit is from North Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross and one more is from Jakarta Social Dept.

Ancol Urban Village Head, Sumpeno said, those victims have been occupying the camp since Saturday.

"They use the camp to flee," he told, Sunday (9/17).

To meet the victim needs, his side continues to distribute the logistic aid, open healthcare service, mobile toilet, etc.

North Jakarta Social Sub-dept. Head, Adji Antoko added, for the needs of lunch, 1,500 rice boxes have been distributed to them. Rice along with side dishes cooked by Disaster Alert Taruna and social volunteers in the public kitchen at the Social Logistics Warehouse, Jalan Kramat Jaya, Tugu Utara, Koja.

"We prepare 1,500 rice boxes here. It will be conducted until Monday night," he exclaimed.

"We need clothing," he stressed.
